I have known Morganne since high school and I was so excited to hear that she was engaged! Her fiancé, Kyle, proposed to Morganne on the square in Medina, Ohio. (Which is why they chose the square for their photos!) Morganne says she was in complete shock and that it was one of the best moments of their relationship.
I have taken photos of the Kaufmann family in the past, and let me tell you, they are one of my favorite families. This is the second year in a row that I have had the privilege to spend an afternoon with them. Although the clouds looked like they might have let down a few raindrops on us, we shot until the sunlight dimmed. We chose Maria’s Field of Hope as our destination. Despite the fact that the sunflowers were at the end of their lifespans, the girls still loved them. Here are a few of the photographs I captured with the Kaufmanns!

Meet Lexi, a 2018 senior from Medina High School. Lexi and I met at the Maria’s Field for Hope on Monday. The sunflower field, located in Avon, Ohio, started in 2014 to “draw attention to the lack of funding for childhood cancer.” The field is in honor of Maria McNamara who lost her life to cancer at the age of seven.
Meet Kaitlyn, a 2018 senior from Medina High School! Kaitlyn’s session was so easy going and her natural beauty made my job a piece of cake. I first met Kaitlyn and her family when I photographed her older sister Ashlyn, a 2016 Medina High School graduate. I was so fortunate they chose me again to take Kaitlyn’s senior portraits.
Let the 2018 Senior Sessions begin! I had such a great time with Emily, a 2018 senior from Hoban High School. She was the perfect person to kick off my senior season with. She chose the covered bridge on Everett Road to be her location, and let me tell you, it was a great choice.
