A Fall Wedding at The Aviator

As a Cleveland wedding photographer, I’ve documented weddings at many elegant and classic venues. But when Alex told me they were planning to say “I do” at The Aviator, I knew this was going to be a celebration to remember! From the moment we arrived until the newlyweds raced off into their happily ever after, The Aviator was beautiful, spacious, had incredible views, and was just downright cool being able to see the airplanes take off across the way at Cleveland Hopkins.

Alex got ready at The Orbit Hotel near the venue. With its mid-century modern design and colorful features, it was perfect for taking photos! Wait until you see the wallpaper. So cool. I always advise couples to get ready in a space large enough for you and your party with enough lighting to keep everything bright. And The Orbit Hotel absolutely delivered!

When we arrived for the ceremony, I was so excited to see it was on The Aviator’s patio! Not only did it perfectly suit the dream wedding day Alex and Tyler had described to me from day one, but it also surprised me with the brick and the greenery. Plus, the lighting was just perfect.

There was definitely no shortage of incredible spots for portraits, that’s for sure! From the photos we took on the rooftop to the ones in the green space next to the venue, Alex and Tyler are going to have a crazy hard time choosing which ones to print and hang in their home!

Then, off to the reception we headed! When the guests saw the view to the airport through the windows, they were ecstatic. And then, once the party kicked into high gear and the guests hit the dance floor, the reception space felt like a real party with the neon light and glow sticks!

Alex and Tyler’s wedding celebration was elegant, beautiful, and downright fun. Congratulations, you two on your marriage!
