Fresh off of a three game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays and a make up game victory against the Cincinnati Reds, the Indians were ready to keep their hot streak going Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Angels. The Tribe started hot Tuesday night scoring seven runs in the second inning. Four of which came off the bat of Bradley Zimmer who recorded his first career Grand Slam. The Angels answered back with seven runs throughout the day. Tuesday marked Indians history: it was the only game to ever have two grand slams in which one was a walk off. In case you missed it, please enjoy Edwin Encarnacion’s walk off grand slam.
The Indians took game three from the Angels, extending their win streak to seven straight games. Despite the sweep, Mike Trout still ended the series with a smile.
